Join Our Team as an Junior Collection Accountant

Are you eager to kickstart your career in a global company and have the opportunity to work with one of the top electronic brands in the world? We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate for the position of Junior Collection Accountant.

You can be a complete beginner or a recent graduate, as long as you have the eagerness to learn and a genuine interest in pursuing a career in finance.

What is it about?

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficient cash collection process management in France
  • Daily monitoring of incoming payments, allocation to open AR positions, and clearance.
  • Proactive collection actions to prevent and reduce overdue accounts.
  • Resolution of open queries and disputes.
  • Compensation of Accounts Receivable with Accounts Payable items.
  • Reconciliation of open balances with customers and diligent follow-up to clean up the balance.
  • Management of incoming customer documents to ensure proper handling.
  • Monitoring the Cash in Transit account for incoming payments.
  • Reporting, including aging reports.
  • Communication with stakeholders, including Customers, Key Account Managers, and Credit Insurers/Brokers.
  • Preparation of required documents for External Auditors.
  • Compliance with internal control standards.

Who are we looking for?

Must have Qualifications:

  • Fluent in French and English.
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in economics, business, or finance.

Nice have Qualifications:

  • Entry-level experience in finance, collection, accounting, or customer-oriented roles would be beneficial.
  • Analytical thinking, organizational skills, and a collaborative mindset are qualities we value
  • Familiarity with Excel (pivot tables, v-look up) and SAP is beneficial but not mandatory.
