Production Manager

We are looking for a skilled and organized Production Manager to oversee the manufacturing process for retail fixtures. Join our team to work on exciting international projects for top global brands

What is it about?

  • Manage all aspects of production with vendors, ensuring delivery timetables and project status.
  • Brief design/engineering teams and verify mechanical drawing details.
  • Prepare quotations and select vendors for production.
  • Plan and track supplier production, setting priorities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and liaise between material suppliers for cross-production checks.
  • Provide training to production executives.
  • Manage concept development from design to client handover.
  • Ensure quality and final check of technical documentation (design drawings, production bill of materials, metadata).
  • Ensure compliance with internal and client standards.
  • Use ERP systems for production-related documentation.
  • Serve as the key contact for internal teams and suppliers, providing clear and timely communication.
  • Ensure on-time delivery and quality of production articles.
  • Plan inspections at suppliers' facilities and on incoming components.
  • Ensure packaging meets client standards.
  • Establish budgets and work-back schedules for projects.
  • Analyze job revenue, cost, and profitability by job/project.
  • Manage claims for damaged or missing components. 

Who are we looking for?

  • Extensive experience in production, ideally in retail fixture fabrication or related industries.
  • Technical education in furniture, mechanical, civil engineering, or architecture is a plus.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and knowledge of materials and production technologies.
  • Strong supplier relationship management and project management skills.
  • Commercial and negotiation skills, including production cost calculations.
  • Open and direct communication style, stress-resistant, and able to multitask effectively.
  • Attention to detail and a drive for self-improvement.
  • Advanced MS Office (Excel) and knowledge of ERP systems.
  • Familiarity with 3D design software (Inventor, SOLIDWORKS).
  • Advanced English (written and verbal); another language is a plus.
