Since 2000, Rapid7 has been at the forefront of providing cybersecurity solutions and insights to secure the future. In line with their ongoing global expansion, Rapid7 has made the strategic decision to establish a presence in Prague. This new location will serve as a key hub for technical talent, building on the success of their innovation hubs in cities like Boston and Belfast. Beyond being just another engineering location or satellite office, Prague will host various departments including engineering, product development, a Security Operations Center (SOC), finance, sales, support, and more. Employees at this site will be integral to driving critical initiatives across the entire business.
Solution
As the Czech market presents a new frontier for Rapid7, they enlisted the expertise of GoodCall to help navigate this challenge and assemble a team of future experts in Prague. The collaboration commenced in July 2023, and over the course of 8 months, GoodCall successfully facilitated the establishment of another innovation hub in Prague for Rapid7.
In terms of positions, we worked on Lead SE (Golang), Senior SE (Golang), Customer Advisor, Lead Frontend Engineer, Senior Security Architect, Detection and Response Analyst, Workplace Coordinator, TA Coordinator, Customer Success Representative, Associate SOC Analyst, and Customer Success Coordinator roles, among others. We successfully filled all of these positions.
Results
- Managed to hire very challenging positions in the standard Rapid7 is used to.
- In 8 months, we succeeded in filling 18 positions. Saving of ~ 1,650,000 czk for the client.
- Successfully kicked off the start of the Prague site.
