Helping Asahi Hire Over 200 Finance Professionals Within a Year

Asahi Europe and International launched a new in-house Finance Business Services unit in Prague, Czech Republic, selecting GoodCall as their recruitment partner to hire 195 positions within a year. The cooperation was eventually extended to over a year, and we successfully filled more than 200 roles. These roles included finance positions such as financial managers and accountants, with requirements for various seniority levels and a broad range of language skills—Hungarian, Polish, Romanian, Italian, French, Dutch, German, Czech, and English.

Solution

A dedicated team of four RPO consultants and Team Leader was initially assigned to this project, later expanding to include three additional members. All consultants brought extensive experience in financial recruitment, successfully filling over 40 positions within three months.

The RPO consultants began the project by planning resources and HR processes, then focused on building candidate pipelines and sourcing strategies to attract candidates with the necessary language skills.

Due to the high volume of roles to be filled each month, interview coordination and administrative support were required. GoodCall provided a coordinator to handle these tasks, ensuring the hiring process ran smoothly.

At the start, GoodCall members participated in every manager interview to support both managers and candidates with HR and recruitment questions. GoodCall’s marketing specialists also contributed by creating a new career page to enhance Asahi’s brand presence in the Czech Republic and launching performance campaigns to boost brand awareness and support recruitment efforts.

The candidates were well taken care of, with extensive support provided throughout the process. To support the candidate experience, the team created a guide for candidates on how to be prepared for the interview. For a smooth onboarding experience, the team also prepared onboarding materials providing the soon-to-be employee with information about next steps. For the candidates that were sourced from outside of the Czech Republic, an additional guide was provided containing important information about Prague, basic information about housing, transportation, the Czech Republic, and leisure opportunities in Prague.

The RPO team additionally organized "Asahi Open Days," an event that invited candidates to learn about the brand and career opportunities. Within an hour, the team collected dozens of contacts and CVs from potential candidates.


Results

  • By October 31, 193 candidates had either started their roles or confirmed their start dates at Asahi.
  • Filled over 40 positions in three months.
  • Extension of the cooperation to over a year and successful placement of more than 200 key roles.
  • Enhanced Asahi's employer branding with performance campaigns.
  • Hosted two on-site ASAHI OPEN DAYS and one Virtual Open Day for candidate engagement.
